LIEGE ROADMAP FOR SOCIAL ECONOMY IN THE EU

This event, dedicated to the inclusive, green and digital transitions, is a unique opportunity for the social economy to bring together practitioners, scientists, policy-makers and other stakeholders to discuss innovative, resilient and inspiring economic models for a more social and sustainable Europe.

These 2 days focusing on social economy feature:

In the Social Economy Village, you can discover and meet the achievements of social economy enterprises and initiatives, as well as the involvement of European institutions, public administrations, federations and other actors in the social economy ecosystem, in three areas dedicated to the three transitions: Inclusion, Green and Digital.

VISITS
TO SOCIAL
ECONOMY
ENTERPRISES

In parallel to the workshops and round tables on the 2 afternoons, enterprises visits are organised. Various sectors of activity are represented on these visits. Three tours are offered each day: 2 in the Liège area and 1 in Flanders. The number of places is limited to 25 people per tour in the Liège periphery and 50 in the Flemish region.

In order to offer the best possible experience, all sessions (plenary sessions, workshops and round tables) provide a live interpretation into French, English, Dutch and German.

Liège offers many accommodation options, suitable for all budgets. A non-exhaustive list of hotels to stay at during the event is available HERE. Preferential rates have been negotiated for the event subject to availability

Due to its sustained and constant activity, Liège is nicknamed "La Cité ardente” (“The Burning City”). It is one of the most touristic cities in Wallonia, and has much to offer visitors: museums, shopping, parks, architecture, folklore, nightlife...
